Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,429ft)
On the arrival day, the crewmember of Orbit Alpine Adventure receives you at the airport and escorts up to the hotel. After refreshment, you can take a short stroll around Thamel to enjoy the night view.

Day 02 : Sightseeing Tour around Kathmandu
As it is sightseeing tour around Kathmandu Valley, the tour guide takes you around the important heritage sites. Out of ten, there are seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites located in Kathmandu Valley. The guide takes you around Swayambhunath Stupa, Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath Stupa. A short hike to Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) gives you a lovely view of the entire Kathmandu valley. Similarly, the other sites let you know about the art and architecture of ancient Nepal.

Day 03 : Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (2,380m/7,808ft) - 140 km/7-8 Hours
Today, after having breakfast, you drive along Pasang Lhamu Highway to reach Syabrubesi for the night stay. The route follows the road that takes you towards Langtang region trekking. On the way, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the snowcapped peaks and wonderful landscapes. The smiling peaks of Manaslu region, Ganesh Himal and Langtang region look like welcoming you to Nepal. By passing the cultivated land, lush valleys and mountain villages, you reach the destination. Syabrubesi is the gateway to Langtang region trekking, Ganesh Himal trek and Tamang Cultural Heritage trekking trail.

Day 04 : Drive from Syabrubesi to Kerung (2,800m/9,186ft) -50.5km/3-4 Hours
As soon as you take your breakfast, you move ahead driving along the newly constructed way towards Kerung. On the way, you drive past Rasuwagadhi (1,800m) by observing the Himalayan view and pleasant landscapes. Enjoy the snow-covered peaks of Langtang region and Ganesh Himal region. The tour guide of Orbit Alpine Adventure fulfils the formalities at Immigration and custum. After getting the legal documents ready, you move ahead to Kerung, the border located in Tibetan Autonomous Region.

Day 05 : Acclimatization Day in Kerung
Today is the acclimatization day in Kerung so that you can adjust easily in the rest of the tour. The tour guide takes you around Kerung region so that you can be prepared for the high altitude of Tibetan Plateau. Kerung is the home to the 11th century great Chinese scholar and saint Milarepa. The Saint Milarepa completed his deep meditation in the Himalayas of Tibet and Nepal before he got enlightenment. Even today, the people of Tibet remember him for his tantric wisdom and contribution for Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 06 : Drive from Kerung to Dongba (4,500m/14,764ft) -375km/-8-9 Hours
You start today’s journey after having breakfast at the hotel by enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery. On the way, you meet the road that leads to Nylam and Zhangmu, which are two large salt-water lakes of Tibet. Similarly, you drive past Thong La and Lalung Pass where you see the mesmerizing view of the Peiku Tsho Lake. After crossing the bridge over the Yarlung River (Brahmaputra River), you reach Saga, another stop during Kailash Mansarovar Lake tour. Enjoying the beautiful vistas of Old Dongba, you drive further to New Dongba. Overnight stay at a lodge.

Day 07 : Drive from Dongba to Mansarovar (4,950m/16,240ft) -335km/7-8 Hours
After breakfast, you drive along the large Tibetan Plateau relishing the distant view of the snowcapped peaks. You also drive past some Tibetan villages and seasonal yak sheds that protect the herds from wind and snowfall. On the way, you see Paryang (4,450m) town having around 20 houses. Some of the tourists going for Holy Kailash Tour spend the night over here. You can find some guesthouses providing basic facilities of food and accommodations for the tourists. Driving along Myam La Pass (5,150m), you reach Horpa Town of Mansarovar region for the night stay. From Horpa Town, you can have the first glimpse of the sacred Mount Kailash in the north east part.

Day 08 : Drive from Mansarovar to Darchen (4,600m/15,092ft) -110km/2 Hours
Today you reach one of the two prime locations of the entire Mansarovar Kailash trip. After a short drive from Horpa Town, you reach the holy Lake Mansarovar. One of the highest altitude freshwater lakes, Lake Mansarovar is located between Mt. Kailash (6,638m) and the Gurla Mandhata Mountain Range (7,694m). You can find the pilgrims doing rituals like hawan, pooja and holy dip into the lake for salvation of the body and the spirit. If you believe in the power of this holy lake and its outcomes, you can also do the rites and rituals according to your religion.
After relishing the natural beauty around Lake Mansarovar and the crowd of pilgrims paying their homage, you start going towards Darchen. Darchen is a small beautiful mountain village, which serves as a stopover for the tourists. Located on the South Face of Mt. Kailash, Darchen is the place where the auspicious kora starts and ends. It remains busy with the crowd of pilgrims who are about to take the circumambulation of Mt. Kailash.
After keeping the things at a hotel, you can take a hike to Astapad. “Astapad” is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘eight steps or paces’. It refers to a group of eight mountains encircling Mt. Kailash symbolic to the flower of lotus.

Day 09 : Drive to Yama Dwar (4,725m/15,502ft) and Trek to Dirapuk (4,890m/16,043ft) - 12km/6/7 Hours
After breakfast at the hotel in Darchen, you begin the drive up to Yama Dwar (the gateway to the Death Door) by enjoying the Himalayan beauty. From Yama Dwar, you start walking towards Diraphuk located in Sarshung Valley. If you find it difficult to carry your load during the trekking, you can hire a horse or yak. Finally, you reach Dirapuk Monastery at the elevation of 4,900 meters. From the monastery, you can have the stunning view of the North Face of Mt. Kailash and other three Lesser Mountains. Overnight stay at a simple lodge or tented camp as per the availability.

Day 10 : Trek from Dirapuk to Zutul-Puk (4,790m/15,715ft) -22km/8-9 Hours
Today you begin the trekking by following the path gradually going down and then ascending towards the high pass. You go across Dolmo La Pass (also Droko La) which is the highest point of the entire Tibet Kailash trek. Dolma La Pass (5,470m) is a holy shrine of Goddess Dolmo (Dromo or Tara), decorated with prayer flags. As it is high altitude pass, it is the challenging part of the entire journey due to the unpredictable weather. By walking past Jarok Donkhag, Shiva-Tsal (‘Tsal’ means ‘pond’) and Gaurikunda, you reach Zutul-Puk for the night stay. On the way, you can see the foot prints of Lord Buddha nearby Gaurikunda (pond).

Day 11 : Trek from Zutul-Puk and Drive to Saga (4,640m/15,223ft) – 8/9 Hours
From Zutul-Puk, you have ave to trek for about 2 hours up to Darchen where you meet the bus station. By catching a private jeep or other vehicle and drive to Saga along with other trekkers, you return from Mansarovar trek. After driving for about 6/7 hours, you arrive at Saga to spend the night at a lodge.

Day 12 : Drive from Saga to Kerung -5 Hours
From Saga, you begin the return journey enjoying the astounding view of Mt. Shishapangma (8,027m). on the way, you drive along the flat part of the Tibetan Plateau and cross the bridge over the Yarlung River.

Day 13 : Drive from Kerung to Kathmandu – 8/9 Hours
By accomplishing the formal procedure of immigration and custom, you begin the return journey back to Kathmandu. You rejoice the same mountain views, landscapes and human settlement areas you did while driving towards Syabrubesi. You drive along Pasang Lhamu Highway (named after the first Nepali woman to ascent Mt. Everest), you arrive Kathmandu in about eight hours. On arrival here, the representative of Orbit Alpine Adventure transfers you to the hotel for your accommodation. In the evening, the agency organizes a farewell dinner party at a cultural restaurant around Thamel.

Day 14 : Final Departure
Mansarovar Kailash Tour 14 days itinerary is going to end today. So, the team member of Orbit Alpine Adventure escorts you up to the Kathmandu International Airport according to your flight schedule.
