Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,429ft)
On the arrival day, the representative receives you at the Kathmandu International Airport and takes you to the hotel. After becoming fresh, you can take a short visit around the touristic centre, Thamel that is full of international tourists. Enjoy the hustling and bustling of the tourists preparing for the journey to the Himalayas or back to their home country. In the evening, our agency invites you to welcome dinner at a cultural hotel or restaurant as a part of hospitality.

Day 02 : Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour & Trek Preparation
Today, the tour guide of Orbit Alpine Adventure guides you through the UNESCO World Heritage Sites located in Kathmandu. You can visit ancient palaces and religious shrines to get knowledge about their historical importance, architectural design and religious values. You visit Patan Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath Stupa during the sightseeing tour in Kathmandu. Day 03 : Drive to Pokhara (910m/2,986ft) - 7 Hours
As soon as you take breakfast at the hotel, you begin your journey in a tourist bus or private jeep towards Pokhara. During the roadway trip to Pokhara, you enjoy the wonderful landscapes, mountain glimpse of Manaslu region and trade centres. You follow the Prithvi Highway, the oldest highway of Nepal through the banks of the Trishuli and the Marsyangdi Rivers. You drive past Malekhu, Motel du Mugling, Dumre, near famous touristic site, Bandipur, Siddha Cave of Bimal Nagar and Damauli. After reaching Pokhara, you can go on a sightseeing tour in Pokhara to explore the beautiful natural and manmade sites. You can try boating in the Phewa Lake or visit Bindhyabasini Temple or Lake Side and so on. Overnight stay at a hotel in the lake city Pokhara by enjoying the food items of your choice.

Day 04 : : Drive to Nayapul (1,070m/3,511ft) and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540m/5,053ft) -5 Hours
After taking your breakfast, you begin the journey in a private jeep up to Nayapul, the gateway to Annapurna Base Camp trek. From Nayapul, you follow the path along the banks of the Modi Khola to reach Birethanti, a village having shops, lodges and teahouses. Moving ahead, you find the Bhurungi Khola and following the banks of this stream, you ascend to Hile Village. Enjoying the mountain view and wonderful landscapes, you climb the path having stone staircases and reach Tikhedhunga for the night stay.

Day 05 : Trek to Ghorepani (2,875m/9,432ft) -5 Hours
Today, you begin the journey to Ghorepani which is a Gurung ethnic village standing on top of a foot hill. First of all, you follow the trail that gently ascends along the stone-paved staircases comprising 3,300 steps to Ulleri. Ulleri is a Magar ethnic village with stone-roofed houses and maintaining the best example of sanitary of the surrounding. This village is famous for the amazingly best view of Hiunchuli and Annapurna South. Penetrating further through the rhododendron and oak forests, you reach Banthanti and Nangethati villages. ‘Thanti’ is a Nepali word meaning ‘rest point or inn for the trekkers’ to reenergize their travel uphill and downhill. After ascending for a few hours, you reach Ghorepani, the best vantage point for the stunning outlook of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Ranges. Overnight rest at a home stay by relishing the organic food prepared by the local people.

Day 06 : Trek to Tadapani (2,610m/ via Poon Hill (3,210m/10,532ft) -7 Hours
Rising early in the morning as soon as possible, you start the hike to Poon Hill, the best sunrise viewpoint. Ghorepani Poon Hill trek (Annapurna Sunrise View Trek as well) is famous for the amazing sunrise view from the altitude of 3,210m. Poon Hill shows you the Himalayan panorama of the Annapurna Massif, Lamjung Himal and Mt. Machhapuchhre at the extreme beauty. Enjoying the invaluable mountain vistas, you start retreat journey to Ghorepani where you take breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, you begin the trekking to Tadapani, yet another cultural village in Annapurna region for the night stay. Following the route along the cliffs, you walk past pine and rhododendron forests to reach Deurali, another stopover of the trek. You spend the night at a guesthouse by enjoying the sunset view of the alluring landscapes and Himalayan view.

Day 07 : Trek to Sinuwa (2,360m/7,743ft) -7 Hours
You have your breakfast enjoying the glittering view of Mt. Machhapuchre in the early sunshine before beginning the journey. After moving ahead for a while, you find at a junction to Ghandruk and Chhomrong village; follow the trail to Chhomrong. You will descend through dense forests, terraced farmlands and cross the bridge of the Kimrung Khola into the Upper Modi Khola Valley. Then, you go past Taulung village to reach Chhomrong Village which is one of the largest Gurung villages in Annapurna region. Following the trail made of stone staircases, you descend to the bridge over the Chhomrong Khola and reach Sinuwa. You stay at a comfortable guesthouse serving delicious food at the best hospitality and cosy beds offering the magnificent mountain sight.

Day 08 : Trek to Deurali (3,170m/10,400ft)- 6 Hours
After breakfast in Sinuwa, you move forward through the dense forests of bamboo, oak and rhododendron trees to reach Kullighar. ‘Kullighar’ is a Nepali term which means ‘the house for criminals’ or ‘a prison’ after crossing this, you reach Bamboo. Bamboo is another famous night station area which is named due to the presence of thick bamboo forests plus other flowers and ferns. Moving ahead along the banks of the Modi River, you walk past the lush forests that almost ends at Hinku Cave. Hinku Cave used to be the most reliable stopover for the ABC trekkers before the development of teahouses en route. By crossing the trail that shows you either snow-covered area or burnt out grassy lands, you reach Deurali for the night accommodation. You can find a few quality guesthouses to take a complete rest by tasting the delicious spicy food there.

Day 09 : Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,550ft) - 7 Hours
Today’s destination is Annapurna Base Camp, the prime location of the entire Annapurna region trekking. You start the journey as soon as taking breakfast to cross the avalanche-prone area before reaching Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). Moving ahead, you can have the glimpse of the amazing mountain peaks and the debris of the Annapurna South glacier. Following the trail that leads into Annapurna Sanctuary, you reach MBC which is the vantage point for the classic mountain view.
After enjoying the mesmerizing outlook of the silvery sight of Annapurna region, you start the trip ahead along the sanctuary. From Annapurna Base Camp, you can have a 360-degree panoramic view of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna I, III and other peaks. Other peaks seen from the ABC are Gangapurna, Singu Chuli, Kangsar Kang and Hiunchuli for your lifelong memories. Overnight stay at a lodge in ABC.

Day 10 : Trek to Bamboo (2,050m/6,726ft) -6 Hours
In order to have the sunrise view from Annapurna Base Camp, you should get up early in the morning. After a short walk, you reach the Annapurna View Point to relish the breathtaking sight of the mountains of Annapurna region. The first sunrays striking the snow-capped peaks and gradually moving downwards by unveiling the curtain is really majestic! After fulfilling the Annapurna dream, you descend towards Bamboo by leaving the Machhapuchhre Valley behind.

Day 11 : Trek to Jhinu Danda (1,780m/5,840ft) -5 Hours
After having breakfast, you begin the journey towards Jhinu Danda all the way walking past Sinuwa, Tilche, Chhomrong and Taulung villages. You can once more enjoy the green surrounding, mountain peaks and lush valleys with ethnic villages during the descent. Gradually descending along the sloppy trail, you reach Jhinu Danda for the night station. After reaching Jhinu Danda, you keep your things at the hotel and go for taking a bath at a natural hot spring. Taking a bath at the hot water spring heals any kind of skin diseases and gives the complete rest. Overnight stay at a local teahouse by enjoying the delicious food items prepared by the local people.

Day 12 : Trek to Ghandruk (1,950m/6,398ft) -4 Hours
Today, you will reach Ghandruk, a beautiful Gurung community village for the night station. Following the trail that passes through a small bamboo forest and terraced farmlands with seasonal crops, you move further. After you reach Ghandruk, you can take a stroll around the village which is one of major Gurung villages in this region. You can visit Gurung Museum which gives you the overall information about their culture, tradition, lifestyle and cultural attire. You can interact with the local people in order to know more about their origin, history and interesting anecdotes related with them. As home stay facility of Ghandruk is one of the most recognized in Nepal, you can enjoy this service tonight. The host prepares the organic dishes of your choice and appetite!

Day 13 : Trek to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara -6 Hours
After having breakfast, the people of Ghandruk farewell you according to their culture and hospitality. Then, you follow the trail that descends along the villages to reach Syaulibazaar along the Modi River banks. Enjoy the eye-catching view of Mt. Machhapuchhre and lovely ethnic villages while moving ahead. From Nayapul, you catch a private jeep to drive to Pokhara which takes around three hours.

Day 14 : Drive back to Kathmandu – 7 Hours
You are almost done with the trekking to Annapurna Sanctuary that is among the best trekking destinations in the world. Today, after taking breakfast, you start the return journey to Kathmandu by enjoying the scenery of the landscapes and peaks of Annapurna region. Relishing the scenery and trade centres located en route Pokhara Kathmandu once more, you arrive Kathmandu after 7 hours. The trekking guide transfers you to the hotel where you can become fresh and take a complete rest. Or you can even celebrate the day to mark the successful completion of the popular Annapurna Base Camp trek.
